Nannon, you are likely having a browser issue. The "chat" option wasn't showing up for me either in Firefox. the chat option is visible in google-chrome, however.

That's the ticket. I switched to IE and can see the chat option now. I'll try to place an order tomorrow since it's late now and I already have over 500 Lego sets piled in my house that's making me sick just looking at it. I look forward to seeing carpet again after this weekend.

I was able to get this to work after calling customer service. $210.00 shipped for a Tantive IV and Fire Brigade aint a bad deal at all. So just confirming that it will work if you call their customer service number. Just make sure the items are IN your cart before you call.

nope, just tried it since it's working on its own now. you only get 25% off for every set of 2 ordered.

There's a 3 set purchase limit on the Tantive IV, but does not appear to be a similar limit on Fire Brigade. Also, it appears that you can place multiple orders to get the discount on multiple sets, but I'm not sure if they'll go back and cancel the discount on the additional orders.

Just noticed (and supported by a thread on Brickset) that the default behavior seems to be Buy One, Get One 50% off.
So, if you order two of the same price, the discount appears as 25% off, but if you order two differently priced items, the credit is only 50% the cheaper.
And, by most accounts, this can be resolved by calling Amazon for live help.

Sorry for what appears to be old information. I can tell you that at the time I placed my order, the operator simply adjusted every item in my cart to 25% off. Perhaps now that the system is doing the calculations they aren't doing that anymore. Based on the actual verbiage on the page you should be able to fight it if you call someone though because there is nothing stating it's a BOGO. Sorry again and good luck.

The Tantive IV now has a limit of 1 but I didn't look at the Fire Brigade. I went ahead and ordered last night and immediately emailed customer service since the Live Chat button was displaying for me. This morning I had an email saying that a credit in the amount of 25% of my order would be sent to my credit card even though I ordered an odd number of sets.

Since nobody has mentioned it yet, there is a 5 item max per account on the Tantive and Fire Brigade and the others have max's as well but they vary. Also, for those who may care, the Toy Story Army battle pack is a great deal to throw on as well. Comes out to $6.75 a box with a max purchase of 3.

Nannan, thanks for the Live Chat link! Brandi was very helpful, and she said the best option was for her to process a refund for the amount once my order ships. We agreed on the discount total, and even though my order was small, she was very accommodating. Great opportunity for a little more Merry!
