For some reason I cant get the discount to apply on the Tantive IV and the Fire House. Anyone else having this problem?

I haven't been able to get this to work at all either - was just about to buy up a bunch of sets for a huge discount (like the world racers set on the front page of FBTB) for the local christmas charity. Heading over to customer service next, methinks.

Talked w/ Bhanu via live chat, and got a promise of an email back w/in 24 hours. I hope the world racers set holds @ $60 until they get this working - comes out to 50% total.

It is 10:21 ET, and I just added three Prince of Persia sets to my cart. No discount is showing up on the "place your order" screen.

EDIT: Just placed my order. Kelly at Amazon says that they will apply the 25% discount manually and send me an email when they have done so.

Just my two cents, but on more than one occasion I have had to call Amazon back after I placed an order to get my discount applied (a discover card one and some other percent off a while ago). They have always been more than helpful to fix any issues. But like I said, this is just my experience. I was looking at the Tantive IV too....might have to pull the trigger before we at FBTB buy them all out.

Ok, so I just placed a nice order with them and if you get someone live on the chat, they will edit the order immediately after you place while you wait. I can assure you it worked for me, I just saved $400+ over what the original total was. Firehouses for $105, Tantive for $105, Desert Destruction for $45, etc. WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO. While I know it's counter-intuitive, trust Amazon on this one as long as they do it while you wait on the chat. I was told there was a VERY narrow window of time in which they could adjust the pricing. Good luck everyone!!!!

Oh and of course.... FREE SHIPPING!!!!!!!

I tried again (after adding $400 worth to my cart) and got somebody on the phone who applied $100 promotional credit to my account and was able to check out - hopefully all the referral mojo kicked in.

Nannon, you are likely having a browser issue. The "chat" option wasn't showing up for me either in Firefox. the chat option is visible in google-chrome, however.

Nannan: Just do it by phone (I had better luck that way). As long as you've got stuff in your cart, and you're logged in when you initiate the call, you should be all set.
