What a fool I was... I actually went to the TRU store - stood in line for 25 minutes in 20 degree F weather before heading home. Within 10 minutes, I ordered everything I wanted online!

I only wish I had an AmEx so I could have saved another $25 - 17% of my order!

Good luck all.

I think there was a price mistake a while ago on the U.S. S@H site. I picked up the Pizza Planet for $23.97. It's sold out now but the price is showing as $32 after the discount. The turbine set was also cheaper an hour ago but I don't remember what price it was. I hope I get my Pizza Planet trucks, especially at the cheaper price.

Yeah they had a major mess up right when they popped these babies online and for about the 30 minutes. At 9pm west coast time the Pizza Truck was $21.57, the Wind Turbine was $32.37, and the Front Loader was $43.17 after all discounts (and FREE SHIPPING!!). Then suddenly around 9:30 the prices jumped up to the current prices, then a few minutes later went down again, and a few minutes later they jumped back up yea again and have stayed there now. Very strange but a great deal if you got lucky and got on right at 9ish. At nearly 50% off the actual retail price, these were by far the best Lego deal out of ANY black friday Lego deal in my opinion.

FYI, LEGO toy story sets at K-mart didn't register at the scanner for the buy two get one free on toy story 3 toys, but when I showed them the ad they happily gave me the discount :D .

Is Meijer sale in-store only? It doesn't seem to be taking effect in the shopping cart and I can't find a coupon code...

Just got back from the Lego store. No series 3 minifigs but I did scratch off a 20%. There was one lady there who got a 50% while I was in line. I asked at the counted if you got the 50% if you were able to go back and get more and they said it only applies to what you have at the counter but they would let you go through the store again, stand in line again and then scratch off a second ticket. No guarantees but if you got 50% off of what you already had at the counter then you would have a little more left for the second trip. XD

I was at the Lego store in Denver, and I have to say...those employees there have always been super cool to me. I got one of the 20% tickets, and I asked if it was kosher to go get something else. The manager and the employee ringing me up didn't even hesitate to say "absolutely, no problem at all". Ended up with a Medieval Market Village, Winter Toy Shop, and Winter Village Bakery for $187 after tax. The bonus PAB box (you have to go back from 12/26/10 to 3/31/11) plus the VIP points made it a pretty fun trip. Also got one of the Mountain Fortresses at Target...not sure if this has been mentioned before, but spending $100 at Target today will get you a freebie $10 gift card.

The Wreck Raider was also part of the S@H pricing glitch. They were down to $5.97 instead $7.98. Since Lego has had these issues before, anyone have any experience with how they handle the orders? Do they honor the lower prices?

Also, many thanks to M19 for the reminder post last night. I would have totally missed the price goof if I hadn't seen the post.

Yes - S@H = Shop at Home = shop.lego.com!

Is the Pizza Planet truck only on sale today or is Lego adding to these sales all weekend? Also will they be deducting the additional scratch off savings from the already reduced price of the set (20% off sale + 10/20/50% scratch card)? I'm trying to figure out if I need to visit my local Lego store tonight. I don't get why people are complaining about the potential to 'win' discounts directly from Lego. They could just offer no incentives with the knowledge that the products are already in demand.

it definitely says "ALL LEGO construction sets" -- "ALL" in all caps! :)

it also says "in store only"

The actual coupon you need to print out has all the rules listed, it excludes the themes I mentioned earlier.

popnfresh is correct. They are excluding the "good" stuff. LEGO must be assuming the Pharoah's Quest is going to be a smash hit? I wonder if it will be or if it will end up like Atlantis?

I'm new on the LEGO scene. Was Atlantis stuff excluded from promos when it first came out?

My guess is that the Pharaoh's Quest will be part of the sale in the future since they just jacked up the prices about %20. The $50 set is now $60 and the pyramid went from %99.99 to $120 instore (not as bad online). For the previous ALL LEGO sale they still had them at MSRP so that must be why they were excluded. Does this coupon mean that some TRUs will have the series 3 tomorrow?
