Coolest Alarm Clocks Ever

Postby Staff » Sun Oct 24, 2010 1:07 am

I just stumbled across these bad boys, and I know what's going on my Christmas list...

Officially licensed, they say, but I found them on some site I've never heard of so I hope they pop up somewhere less sketchy. Preorders only right now but they're due out in November. Battery powered, light up face, alarm function, and the snooze works by smacking them on the head. Awesome.

Hey, just to say, Firebox is a legit site... its been around ages and I've bought from them loads of times. They often get official lego star wars related stuff.

Amazon is also selling these and they say they have them in stock. My kids need a new alarm clock and I think I just found their new one.

Saw these at K Mart about four or five weeks ago, but couldn't find a price and they wouldn't scan. I'd try there.

I found them on Amazon. At least then you know you have a bigger company watching over things...

I saw Vader at Kmart, it was $30.

Saw a pic online that showed the Stormtrooper and Jedi Luke, but Jedi Luke doesn't show up on Amazon.

BFAds.net has the Kmart Big Toy Book and the Vader clock is on sale for $23. Not sure when the price goes into effect, though.

Here is the site with the pic of the Jedi Luke clock.

Wow! I want these so bad! Has anyone seen these at a store in Canada? Any websites within North America that have these for sale and ship to Canada? I want both (and if they release the Luke one too I'll take it as well! :) ).

Supposedly the big book goes into effect on Oct 31st.

For Canadians: I saw these last week at my local Toys R Us in Toronto, Canada for $39.99 CAD ea. They had Stormie, Vader and Luke and they are all awesome-looking (although lightsabers/blasters would have been nice). They also had the new minifigure watches including Vader, Stormie, Luke & R2-D2.

Just got back from my local Toys R Us (Saskatoon). They had one darth vader and one stromtrooper (in electronics section) and they were only $26! I bought them both. Still hoping to pick up a Luke though.

Are these battery-operated only, or do they have plugs?

Do they come in a box or something? I'm thinking of getting a friend of a friend to bring me one from the States, but not if it is too much trouble. Desperately want a Stormie. :)

Solscud007, did you find the Stormtrooper clock in the toy section? That's where I found the 1 Vader clock that I saw before, but since I couldn't find any others, thought someone may have brought it from a different section.

The Kmart ad only shows Vader, glad to see that the Stormtrooper is included in the sale.

Actually no, they were NOT in the toy section. I had to ask Customer Service. luckily the guy who helped me, remembered seeing them. They were in the middle of an aisle with a bunch of other childrens clocks. I had actually walked right past it on my way to Customer Service haha.

No Jedi Lukes though. Just 6 vaders and only 2 stormies. The clictime watches were also in the same area. It was like a table that they put out in the middle of main aisle. you had to walk on either side of it to get thru to where you want to go.

Bonus: Sales tax in that area of NJ is only 3.5%

Well after getting these I only have 1 beef with it. There is no scale to it, most things that are bigger fit on the smaller things, such as you can put Duplo on a Lego Plate. But this doesn't fit into the Lego, Duplo or even the Quatro range. Other than that I love it.
