I have another idea... CHESS SETS!

How about a LEGO Star Wars Clone Wars chess set? The pawns could be Clone Troopers and Battle Droids, The castles could be Clones and Droids in Turrets, the Bishops could be Captain Rex, Commander Cody, and two yellow Droid Commanders, the Kings could be Anakin (or another Jedi, CommanderFox) and Count Dooku, and the queens could be Ahsoka (or a female Jedi) and Asajj Ventress. I think the Separatist knights should be Droids on STAP Speeders, but Clone speeders are too long for a chess set. Maybe they'll figure something out.

And how about a LEGO Star Wars Clone Wars Video Game? The other three were huge hits, why not this one?

The chess set would be interesting, and the game is pretty likely. The knights would probably be Obi Wan and Yoda, or they could be the bishops. Them being Bishops would make more sense IMO

I would love to see a UCS version of the Tyderium Shuttle (let's say the same scale as the UCS MF, I don't wanna start a UCS discussion from this post!).

A new Landspeeder would be cool as well.

Finally a set with Jango Fett and my LSW collection is considered complete!

I would like a remake of the Tie Fighter in grey like the new Vader Tie.
The variations of the many advance Tie fighters from EU.
The Interior cannon of the Death Star turret, with Imperial Gunners.
New Cantina set.
Mega set, Death Star Trench with an x-wing, y-wing, and some Ties (Plus a turret or two).
Carbon Freeze Camber, that can double for Han's incasing and Darth's duel with Luke.
A set of the Imperial guards but the ones with weapons and ect from the Crimson Empire comic.

And 8 figure battle packs with no vehicles.
Examples:
Clone Wars, 4 Jedis and 4 Clones
OT, Imperial army, 2 Biker scouts, 2 Sand Troopers, 2 Stormtroopers, 2 Death Star Troopers
EU Heroes... Well the list is endless here. LOL

Why four of both? Wouldn't it be better - and more logical, considering there were so few Jedi compared to the number of clones - to have one or two Jedis and six or seven clones, some being basic troopers and some specialised units?

I would like to see a set of Dexter's Diner from AOTC it would be a great set to put many different aliens (maybe a rodian here and a mon calamari there) and probably a Coruscant taxi parked outside. It could have Obi-Wan, the servant droid, and Dexter (they could use the new space police alien design Link ) it could be around the scale that Pepa Quin made last year Link. That would be a great set with a variety of parts for MOCing minifigs

I know the "Home One" set won the Fan's Choice contest but will TLC ever go ahead and make an Arrest of Palpatine set? One with at least Mace, Palpatine and, Anakin? (maybe Kit Fisto and the others?)

this was the one *I* would have wanted. so many possible play features:

- catapult floor piece to launch mace windu through the window
- dual-sided palpatine face, pre-crispy and crispy
- motorized technic axle for palpatine spinning drill attack action when he attacks the jedi
- fiber optic light system for lightning duel between palpy and mace
- long hallway for anakin's futile run
- small craft and landing pad at end of said hallway

i know i kid on some of the play features (long hallway, psh), but this would have been a cool set.

I don't know, I think there might be some possiblity for both sets, the Palpatine Arrest and Slave I with platform, to be released sometime. I can very easily see a new Slave I coming out before the license ends (if it does), actually, I can see us getting a Cloud City set by then. But as for the Arrest set, I would say there is a good chance we may get a toned down version of what would be released if the set had won the vote. If they do release it, it would probally be the Palp's office, Mace Windu, Anakin, maybe some senate guards or other figures, and then some small play features. But I doubt they would release the whole set that they had planned. But also, LEGO isn't to big a fan of playsets, but who knows. I know the fans would love to see the set.

Nah, diffirent Jedis in different brown toned outfits, with different heads, 2 males and 2 females (Toss some aliens as well), excites me more than an additional two clones.

But I do fully agree with you about the specialised Clonies.

That be nice. I think TLG has to make it because without the Jedi Temple where are jedi supposed to train (I'm talking Prequel Trilogy here) They could just throw in various space police aliens with different colors and new jedi robes and bam there you have it lots of jedi. This set could probably include Aayla, Kit, and Shakk Ti, (come on TLG all you have to do is add extensions to Ahsoka's headpiece) then two other jedi and probably a ship and the temple. If they make it split up like Jabba's Palace I'm okay with that I'm just saying that they should make it.

I would like to see:

Theed Palace Playset:
I think a throne room with a reversable floor so you can switch between the scene about the communications being
blocked and the arrest of Nute Gunray. Also a spot for the breaking glass and the ascension guns. Plus the area
where the jedi fight Maul. You would get a great collection of minifigs: Padme, Qui-Gon, Maul, Panaka, Gunray,
even Sio Bibble !, etc. Plus alot of play features like turning the energy conductors to trap Ben. Maybe even throw
in a small hanger with a naboo fighter for the vehicly minded folks.

Geonosis Battle:
awesome selection of minifigs possible here. Battle Padme, Dooku, Jango Fett, Mace, etc. Potential for cool
monster molds. You could even add a Gunship with Yoda.

Mos Eisley Cantina:
bigger and with more aliens please . complete bar and band is a must

Anything UCS:
AT-AT minifig size, Speederbike, Tyderium Shuttle, Anakin's Jedi Starfighter (1st clone wars cartoon). i love me
some UCS

Like some others have posted, I'd really love to to see an expanded Mos Eisley Cantina that includes the band, the bar and a selection of other aliens. Would also like to see a Rebel hangar bay playset with a couple of ships, plus ground crew, vehicles and accessories.

I voted for this set over the Home One. Yes, Ackbar rules, but if people had read what the set would be, they would have seen that it was geared to be just a landing pad with an A-Wing all along. And, judging by the pics I've seen of this set, it appears to be a huuuuuuuuuge rip-off. $109.99 for a set with a green A-Wing, a mediocre control area and a bunch of kewl figs? Not even worth $40 IMO.

A Palpatine's Arrest set would have been different. It would have had just as many minifigs (especially if one of these choices was meant to be such a big set, they must have been thinking of including around the same number of minifigs in whichever set won the vote), including never-before-seen, or ultra rare, minifigures with non-cartoonified CW heads, and probably a neat little office set. We missed out on a cool opportunity. Hopefully Lego sees that they would make huge sales on a set like this and will release one later anyway.

I also voted Palpy's arrest, but I'm still quite glad they made the Home 1.
The PA (palpys arrest) could have had a lot of cool features though, mace's hand
could pop off and he could have a 10,000,000 volt electricity emitter in him.
It could also have cool minifigs though. Kit, Sasee, Mace,other guy, and palpy,
who could resist it? Then again it would probably be just as much money as the Home 1
so that makes me happy!
