[NEW STUFF] LEGO City

Though we don't cover them in detail on FBTB, we all still love our Castle, Pirates, and Space LEGO too.

Hmm. I like the overall look, but worry about the 8-wide construcion fitting in when it's sitting alongside other city vehicles. Didn't the 7726 Coast Guard Truck with Speed Boat:

http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=7726-1

have similar issues of size/scale?

Still, the pendular suspension looks cool, I wonder if it has springs or rubber bands or is free hanging.

I like the off road/ S&R type theme, It'd be cool to see a version of the 4WD with Horse Trailer turned into a search and rescue truck pulling a command/supply trailer.

I just saw that new Firetruck/boat set at Target today. 388 pieces for $39.99, and it looks to be a limited edition set, whatever that means.

Most likely a Target exclusive that will only be available at Target and LEGO Shop@Home/LEGO retail stores. It's not currently available online at Target or Amazon (they have some sort of...understanding), but it probably will be soon enough if it's showing up in brick-and-mortar stores.

Yes, the hood of his hoodie is on the back. (That sentence just doesn't sound right). I picked one up at TRU last night.

eBay store, contact me if you'd like to perform trades from my inventory. I'm looking for original genosian fighers, second version a-wing fighters and tie bombers. I may be interested in other sets so let me know what you have.

If I was buying the City sets, I'd for sure get this one. That plane in the Airport set is awesome.

On S@H it's listed as being "Hard to find", which indicates it's a store exclusive. Does anyone know which store? Is it TRU, like the rest of the Farm sets?

Thanks. Now, if TRU would just get them in stock during the sale...

I haven't bought a lego in YEARS but now that I'm working at TRU and I'm around it all day I want one. I thin my re-initiation is going to be 7942. I saw it and said I must buy it. For some reason I'm drawn to it.

It's funny how working at a major retailer can pull one out of their dark age. ;)

Has anyone purchased the 7689 Pig Farm and Tractor set yet? I'm curious to know how many little piggies ther are. The S@H site states that there are "3 little pigs and 2 farm minifigures", but the picture shows 4. There are 2 pigs in the pen and 2 in the trailer.
