bah! I was expecting something like 40% OFF all Lego making everything regular Suggested Retail prices rather than this. Probably what they have planned for Sunday's add. I so remember when I worked in big box retail and we had to change prices on Saturday night to higher prices then add the sale sign. Something that was $10 was now $14 with 30% OFF. Yay what a deal!

Friday and Saturday all day long – half price in store for this set only. Normally $55.99, now $22.99 (not bad!)

Correct me if I'm wrong... but the math doesn't add up. 50% of $55.99 would be $27.99, not $22.99. The actual MSRP on 7626 is $39.99 not $55.99. So there is some confusion with this post. Does TRU charge a $15 mark up normally? 50% of MSRP, TRU?

Pretty sure that is was a misprint and he meant to put $45.99. TRU will mark up most of there sets and $6 seems to be one of the popular amounts. So with the 50% off of TRU price the set will be $22.99

Scam-tastic! :( Filled cart with over $75 in LEGO (all which were flagged individually "Free Shipping" on orders over $49) went to check out, shipping charges magically appeared  (went back to individual listings and LEGO items were no longer included in Free Ship over $49 offer) ok, fine, whatever, finished Checkout which sent me to PayPal and the 2 Jungle Cutters had disppeared as "Out Of Stock" and $20 was no longer applied. Cancelled entire order... Remembered why I dislike TRU. >:(

I can confirm the double bump in 2010 sets. Toy Story army men pack up from 12.99 to 14.99.

Freeco Speeder up to 34.99 now. Crazy.
Arc-170 at 74.99 and battlepacks at 14.99.

Thanks, TRU.

Thats tottally ridiclous. Those prices are even higher than Canada retail. When i first read it, i thought you meant toysrus canada. Those are the prices for toysrus in canada at the moment. They are trying to get whatever they can as they seem to be one of the few ones to get the new lego before christmas. But they'll probably lower them after the christmas holiday.

So what, if you don't want to pay the premium, wait till they reach saturation in January/February. These are wants, not needs. TRU is in the business of making money (if not staying afloat in a crappy economy) so every little bit counts. I've said this before, if TRU doesn't survive, you'll have to go to Target and Walmart to get your Legos. We all know how good of a job those two guys do at carrying all of the Lego sets available.
eBay store, contact me if you'd like to perform trades from my inventory. I'm looking for original genosian fighers, second version a-wing fighters and tie bombers. I may be interested in other sets so let me know what you have.

Said this previously, but i'll say it again.

Basically a $5-$10 additional mark up. So now pratically all of their Star Wars sets is above msrp.

-Cooporate Droid ($29.99 US)
-Echo Base ($29.99)
-Hyena Droid Bomber ($24.99)
-Anakin Fighter ($24.99)
-Vader Fighter ($34.99)
