New image cropped up on Eurobricks. Note the large Buzz (7592) and Zurg (7591) figures and Woody's Round-Up (7594) in the background and Buzz's ship (7593) along with an Army men jeep in the foreground.

I really like the look of those brick-built figs. It looks like some rather modern mech-building techniques were used, at least on Buzz.

The Midak Skyblaster caught me by suprise for a second there. So far, I'm loving the Army men, RC, and especially the brick-built Buzz. My little cousin is going to go nuts when he sees these

Wow, not bad. $50 for 500 pieces, and it looks to be very brick-heavy. Not a technic pin in sight. Ignoring the figures' heads, this is a pretty good parts pack.

I'm quite surprised at the 10 cents per piece ratio too. I guess Disney is reeeally happy they're not dealing with MegaBloks anymore. :p

Wow. With those new figure molds and everything I didn't expect it to be at the 10 cents per part ratio...That's really something..

not a big surprise considering TRU marks up everything above MSRP. I think $49.99 is the actual MSRP, not $54.99

It's hard to imagine this set having 500 pieces... The buildings look kinda small! Guess everything is brick-built, and there aren't any "wall" pieces.

I also have a feeling they are about to mark up the battle packs pretty soon considering the last wave of battle packs cost $12.99 at tru instead of $10.99 msrp.

Postby Obi-Wan Skywalker » Tue Dec 08, 2009 2:40 pm

The mini site is up. There's not much to do but it's kind of like the atlantis page.
