For any one that is interested, two 2010 Power Miner and one space police sets were on the shelf at West Edmonton Toys r us. 8188 Fire blaster and 8189 Magma Mech as well as Smash 'n' Grab, from the space police line.

All the [TRUs] in the Cincinnati/Dayton areas have 3 of the Atlantis sets (crab, guardian, and raider), the 2010 Space Police and a few others that I can't recall off hand.

Announcements regarding specific deals are still welcomed and encouraged. This is just a thread to say "hey, I saw this brand new, heretofore unreleased set at Retailer X." If it turns out not to be useful/warranted, it'll die off. Think of it as celebrating the start of a new release cycle.

I've been keeping my eye out for the big Atlantis ship, the Neptune Carrier. I called up the Tysons store today and they said they're only getting the "first batch" of sets now, which leads me to believe they'll only have the first few small sets like TRU has had and not the entire line... At least for a while.

Yes, and for people who want these new sets first, this is helpful. It is stickied to avoid lots of new threads, and the sticky automatically ends on Dec 31st, afterwards it will need to survive simply by new posting. This is not a catch-all thread, but it is a temporary "catch" thread for similar news. I will be starting an end-of-season store/site specific clearance thread around Christmas as well, just like last year. Does that help? If not PM me.

Just went to TRU on Black Friday. (Yes, I know I'm crazy.) While I was there, I came across the Smash n' Grab and the Raid VPR from the Space Police line and the Magma Mech from the Power Miners line! I was amazed to see that 2010 sets were actually there this early. Just wanted to share my find.

I have family in Chicago who were willing to go get the LEGO Toy Story sets for me at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center in the Chicago. However, I just got off the phone with the store and they said the sets were put out in error and were pulled from the floor hours later and would not be back until 2010...

I've probably said it before, but it seems silly to me to hold hot product back until after Christmas. I've already bought the LEGO I'm going to by for the holidays, but I'd buyt new Star Wars and Toy Story sets on top of that!

Here is hoping that Toys R Us employees will put stuff out before Christmas, I've seen it several times in the past...

Verifying that the new sets are showing up in Northern VA as well. TRU (and its wonderfully inflated prices-- or is that just LEGO now?) has the entire Atlantis line, all the Toy Story sets, all the new SW sets, the new City sets, Racers, etc. etc. Basically everything that's slated to be released in January 2010 is out there.

Now if only the loyalty-card-enabled LEGO shops would carry them this soon...

My TRU has most of the 2010 SW sets, I picked up the battlepacks for $13.99 each, Freeco Speeder for $28.99, and Droid Tri Fighter for $31.99. I didn't get the Arc 170, because I wasn't gonna pay $65.99 for 400 pcs.
