Updated 4/21/12: Guidelines of the Reviews Forum

Postby dWhisper » Tue Feb 17, 2009 5:28 pm

So here's the story, morning glories, the review forum is back! It's going to remain relatively unchanged from the previous forum on Old FBTB. The basic guidelines...

1. Want to write a review? Anyone is free to create a new review thread here. 1st party reviews only (in other words, your words, not a copy/paste from another site!)

2. Thread titles need to look like this: Theme Review: Set Number Set Name. So a review thread for the Republic Attack Shuttle's review thread will look like this: Star Wars Review: 8019 Republic Attack Shuttle.

3. Discussions need to surround the set, the review, or the like. No off-topic stuff, no thread-crapping, and no whining about things like how much you hate the Clone Wars figures (unless that's part of your review).

4. If a review exists, you may start a new thread.

Any questions? Ask a staff member!
That's all there is to it. So have fun, and review away!
If the above post didn't offend you, you're probably reading it wrong.

We're making some slight alterations on our review policy. Most everything is the same. The one major change is that before if a thread existed on a set, you were encouraged to post your review in the same thread as a reply. Now you can start a brand new thread even if one already exists.

Also, even though we've never limited reviews to Star Wars sets or other licensed themes, we encourage you to review any set you wish. We just ask that you put the them in the title of the thread, as detailed in guideline #2 above.

Lastly, there is no limit on the number of pictures you can post, nor is there a size limit. We have tools in place to handle pictures that are too large.

Any questions? feel free to post.
