Of course, I'm still hoping my Costco will get it for $80. No tax in Oregon, so that would be a slightly better deal for me.

I placed my order last night after having no luck at either of my two local Costcos.

That would be a good deal for me... if Amazon.com shipped LEGO to Canada (they only ship CDs, Books and DVDs north of the 49th parallel).

BN.com has had the best deal so far compared to costco or amazon.com for US or Canada. Only catch is you had to be a member or join. But joining would have allowed anyone to get the endor at $72usd shipped to the US since there was a 20% coupon for new members.

So for existing members, $76usd shipped to tax free state (free shipping included) was the typical price.

Or for canadians, about $87usd shipped to canada ($6 shipping, 5% tax) - came out to about $95cdn back in september. Thats equivalent to 35% off of cdn retail. The closest sale in canada was at wal mart but came out to $105-118cdn.

Unfortunately if you did not buy them in august or september, there are no more available!they were the hottest selling set on bn.com.

After I posted I realize it was not helpful to those members looking for the endor set now, but the advice was directed to canadian members that have not check bn.com particularly for those that salivate over amazon.com lego sales for which they cannot participate in (unless you have a us address to ship and pickup), so that for next time, they can check bn.com as part of their research for best price comparison and weigh their options.

I could have linked to my original post re bn and the endor set back in september but my point was that bn had the best price online then and this was happening at the same time when costco had it on sale at 79.99 in-store if you could find it. And that the amazon deal is slightly worst than costco or bn price. Nothing against amazon and costco I bought lego sets from them many times too. Both costco and bn requires membership but bn is still better (lower membership cost and online convenience) than costco. As per the costco thread, no one should join either one if you are thinking of only short term and buying one set for the whole year.

For those in the northern toronto area who were not able to get an endor set at the wal mart sale or want a better price than walmart, let me know; I bought a lego set of a local seller who told me that he was selling Endor at $105cdn cash deal/no taxes (29% off).
