The speeder will probably contain Obi-Wan cause the Hasbro toy version did. Don't recall seeing it though. Could someone give me some details as to what exactly it is???

Weird selection of sets - seems like a lot of rehashed subject matter. TIE defender is EU, we already have 2 Luke landspeeders and I'm not sure how they plan to improve the Arc-170 yet keep it affordable. Will it be showing up in CW season 2?

Looks like we're getting a whiff of the January 2010 stuff.

I don't really see it as all that surprising/weird though. The last wave of CW sets saw a new AT-TE, RGS and not one but two new color variations of the Delta-7 starfighter. I expect any prequel stuff to be Clone Warsified in some way (color changes or unique figs perhaps). I supposed the TIE Defender is out of left field, but no more so than the TIE Crawler was a couple of years ago. It may end up being another store exclusive for the holidays. Battle packs are a no-brainer at this point, and the cycle so far has gone 2 PT, 2 OT, 2 PT (or CW), so we're due for a set of OT battle packs. The only thing that is really sort of puzzling for me is the speeder, but we are running out of source material here guys. Redesigns/releases are inevitable. Just wondering why they went the speeder route and not a new Cloud Car or something. I can't imagine any particularly interesting figs coming with it except perhaps an affordable fleshy Ben Kenobi.

These mostly sound like lower price point sets. A Tie, landspeeder, speeder bikes... they all sound like the under $50 category. The ARC 170 may too, depending on how elaborate it is. I like the assortment just for that aspect. We get a bit of a break.
