Just spotted this on Flickr, I can only assume it's fresh from the New York Toy Fair... I can't wait for Ace and Mike to get back with all their pictures and some official word. Chuck, thanks for the tip.

Edit: Here's Ace's great pictures of this set, and a few of my favorites...

I can't imagine how much this will cost, but man I so want this. They are both extremely well put together models, and all those clones sweet.

1) buy this set
2) wait for the Star wars line to end
3) ?????
4) profit :D

Nah, just wait for them to stop making these clones and see how much I can get for them.

Hope it is not a cruel hoax. If it is true I will have to sell my kidney as this will be gorram expensive. This is just getting out of control. Too many good sets and not enough cash to go round. I would buy each of these sets individually and to get both in one is almost too good to be true.

It's strange to see LEGO include so much in one set. Two large vehicles AND all those clones!

Looks good, but it's probably out of my price range.

That looks highly magnificent (but extremely expensive, too). If it really has that many clones.. wow. Just wow.
I wonder if it's going to be some kind of an exclusive..

What's wrong with the cockpit, by the way? It seems to be pointing upwards.

In addition, AT-OT FTW! That's a vehicle I've - for some strange reason - always wanted to see as a LEGO set.

Nothing's wrong with it, look at the box art. Maybe that's how it looks for boarding or something...

Also, three cheers for Ace.

Man am I happy that I just got a job, though I don't start until two weeks, or I would never be able to get money for all the sets I want this year. This is what people have wanted, and we got it. This is probally one of, if not, the best LEGO year yet. I have no more words to describe how estatic I am right now.

Nice, but that price is a big ol' wad of napalm to the scrotum. No doubt we'll get screwed over even more in the UK  - I need to age a couple of years in the next few months so that I can get a job that pays enough to afford this.

Jesus Christ that's huge  You'd think with all the leaks for this year's stuff we'd have caught wind of this set already  Well played Lego.

Wow  . I mean, this is what I've always wanted, but holy crap it is expensive. I am going to have to put in a lot of extra time caddying to come up with the money for this and the other sets I want.

Whoa, that is amazingly cool. The price is a bit up there, but that's to be expected. If only I had the money to pay for it, the I would be in Nirvana. The gunship design looks pretty good, and I'll bet that it can be modded to fit an AT-TE easily enough.

Needs more minifigures for that insane price, much more.

I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, and I hate the fact there are 30 Clone War sets and about three classic sets, but this set looks awesome. However not $250 awesome.

Does it say 1758 pieces?

Maybe 15cents per piece is the new 10 cents per piece.
