I was actually at a Target last Thursday and they had a few Pirate Tanks on the shelves. I would have picked one up, but I had recently spent all my money on other sets in the Star Wars lineup. So, just letting you guys know that you may be able to find them, keep a lookout for them.

Just picked it up at the local Target in NJ. Lego stores in NJ and PA were all dry of ALL new SW sets.

yeah you can pick them (rare though) the pirate tank and republic tank at target right now along with the old CLEARANCE star wars stuff also they are literally half off if you can find them...i was able to pick up the v torrent for 20 dollars and indian jones temple crystal skull for 40 dollars.

In Ireland & the UK the Pirate Tank is available at Argos - I picked up mine yesterday!

The one set I wanted which the store was out of was the Battle of Endor.

I just picked one up last night but it was NOT in the aisle with the rest of the legos. Target is using one of the back endcaps for the new Star Wars lego sets. The tag for the tank also had NCF on it. Not sure what that means...

NCF =? non-carryforward, aka discontinued. Someone who actually works at Target should confirm this, but that's my understanding.

I live in Seattle and went to the Northgate Target this morning; I picked up the last Republic Fighter Tank there. I did not see the Pirate Tank. Several City and Bionicle sets were on sale (nothing too dramatic though). SP3 was located at the end of a random aisle, I picked up the last Freeze Ray Frenzy on the shelf on a whim and am really happy with the purchase. Happy hunting...
