Indiana Jones Ambush in Cairo - How many pieces?

Title says it all. According to the shop@home page, this set comes with 1877 pieces, which can't possible be correct. (At $12.99 Canadian, that's less a cent per piece.) Does anyone know the correct piece count?

Maybe they had to put 1500 pieces into the barrel for Marion to stand on

It looks good but it should of had the monkey man and monkey.

Not a bad little set, I just built it. Finally we get a jacketless Indy. When building the fruit stand, watch the instructions closely, or you may think you were shorted 2 Brown bricks 1x1 round w/hollow stud. I agree the Monkey man would have been great, but this is actually cool as we do get four new figures in one small set!
