OK, NOW I see it there. I hope my tags work correctly. When I tried to search by "Challenge 5", it didn't show up...

Looks like coconut shavings to me.

Yup. I don't even like coconut, but it seemed the best choice. My wife ate it. :)

Ah, that's a topping I'm not familiar with.

But to please the missus... ;)

Well this took me most of the day, but I finally finished.(although I'm not feeling too well from all the cookie dough)
Without prolonging this any further here is my cookie: Bon Apetite!

Can you guess who it is?

Took me a sec too, but I think it's Boba Fett (judging by the sleeve colors, the limited edition version at that ;) )

Yeah it's Boba, I know it looks a little weird but doing details with Coolwhip is not too easy...

I tried to be a tad ambitious with how I hoped I could create my cookie creation.

But that didn't turn out so great, SO, instead. I present to you, "Bits of Alderaan". (i.e. what Alderaan looked like after being blown up :p )

Although there are just a handful of entries, I have to say I really enjoyed them all. Perhaps if i left the competition open longer, there would have been more submissions? in any case it was a rather difficult decision.

joedward: I really liked your concept of a cookie sculpture. it's too bad it didn't hold up.

CommanoSev: the boba fett cookie was pretty nice as well. i could tell a lot of time went into the frosting.

GIR3691: the death star ii cookie was also really, really well don. I really liked the shading of the sphere and the darker frosting for the shadow interior of parts that were still under construction.

mister ed: the wampa was simply briliant. the coconut shavings really took the cookie over the top. i also liked the detail of the blood for the freshly-sabered off look.

it was a tough decision between the death star ii and wampa cookie. in the end i'll have to give top prize to the wampa by mister ed. congratulations! pm me your choice of fig and mailing address.

Hooray! I was really sweating it once the other, excellent entries starting coming in.
Anyway, thanks! Now I don't have to try to set up a photo on public transportation. ;)

(Also, I'd like to publicly thank my wife. Without her help, the cookie would have probably LOOKED the same, but it wouldn't have tasted that good. Even though I don't like coconut, my wife saved the head for me, and it was delicious. Mmmm....gingerbread!)

Congrats Mr Ed! I chuckled pretty hard when you posted up your entry. And thanks to all the participants for putting the effort into this and sharing, it was fun watching the submissions roll in.
