i think it would look better with a small gap between the ad at the top and the main logo and same between the toolbar and the rest of the page ... afterall, you've coded curved corners for a reason, right ?

Also, I think it would be better if the side bar on the news page was the same length as the news items bit and again, some small spaces between the ads at the bottom.

Mildly too picky. It floats with the ad sizes... but maybe Ace can do it, or maybe he's rolling his eyes and swearing at his screen.

that empty gap is actually an issue with the google ad. the ad comes in at a set size, and their algorithms populate it. it's kinda been bugging me why it's been showing only 3 ads.

I'm fine with the sidebar length discrepancy, but dislike the the ad banner on top of the site. I think the solution with the ad between the header and the body was much more pleasing. 2 cents.

Using Firefox 2 on both PC and Mac, the right-hand sidebar is wiggitywonk. The tippy-top section shows the Search and Flickr sections just fine, but then everything else (Recent Topics, Categories, Banner buttons, etc.) doesn't show up until waaaaay far down the page, right under the main content area. So there's a good 6-7 PgDn's until you see that stuff.

even though isn't officially stated anywhere on the site, i don't put in the effort anymore to make the site backwards compatible with older browsers. i also don't take responsibility how ad blockers and other browser plugins render the page.

after having said that, how come you don't upgrade to 3?

For the same reasons I had last time you asked.

I'd understand if I were running, say, IE5. But I find it a little odd that a browser like Firefox 2, "replaced" only less than a year ago, would be considered too old or obsolete for FBTB and not worth working with. But I suppose that is your call.

considering it's not supported anymore, by the firefox team, i would think it's safe to say that its outdated. still, i'll download ff2 and see if there isn't anything obvious i can fix.
