At this level of advertising, for such a colossal client, nothing gets rushed like this. No one rushes different fonts, resizing fonts to an almost unreadable degree, and extremely poor photography.
The minifigs would have either been on the traditionally 3x4 mini fig stands, not on a 6x40 dark grey plate or they would have been the computer generated versions that show them twisting, turning, and bending like on the lego.com site.
As far as I'm concerned, this is easily done with mediocre Photoshop skills and, obviously, poor photography skills.
There's also 2 Lego logos and the copyright says (difficult as it is to read) ©2010.
Also, why would someone fake these? Why would someone fake Bigfoot or the Lock Ness Monster (Nessie) or UFOs?
