Agreed about Gollum- that's possibly one of the best minifig designs I've seen to blend the design of the original with the aesthetic of a LEGO figure in at least the last five years.

The orcs, on the other hand...eh. So close, and yet so far with those ears.

The color and especially the expression on the poster Gollum are definitely superior. It is still a nice figure, especially given the treatment of sebulba, or most any other non-standard sized figure. Urukhai is fabulous; Absolutely amazing. Maybe it's Aragorn's lack of a cloak that makes his minifig look too modern.

Oh, I'm glad you guys can now see what Gollum is like ... truely a great figure, what you can't see in the pic is the detail of his little loin cloth type thing.

I was kinda hoping Gollum would have a normal minifigure head, but I can understand why they didn't give him one. Does anyone know if his head will be detachable?

These figs are sweet. I really like the Orcs/Goblins. :)

The figs are looking pretty cool so far. The Moria goblins look awesome but I do wish they had made some with the even cooler Moria Goblin armor and helmet. The helmet is so darn cool it saddens me there aren't more. Also, I want more moria goblins. I'm not gonna get multiple sets of that very expensive set, I wish there were some battle packs. I would be surprised if they didn't make a Balrog at some point so maybe some more goblins will be in those packs.

That Gollum reminds me of a kid I used to go to school with.

I'm having a hard time reviewing the One Ring on my mobile here. Is it a round 1x1 tile thats held with the flat side away from the camera? Or is it a completely hollow ring? I hope they release a set with Aragorn's kingly sword sometime. It's been so long since i've seen the movies: Anduril, Andursil, something like that? I'd also like to see a Nazghul with the skull face sculpt one day; what Frodo sees when he's wearing the Ring.

It's a new, hollow ring.
