Challenge #5: Bake A Star Wars Cookie

Postby onions » Fri May 08, 2009 1:04 am

Bake a Star Wars cookie. Create and decorate a cookie of anything Star Wars. Take a picture of the cookie and post it to this thread. You must also post the picture to the FBTB: flickr Outpost and tag the photo with "Challenge 5". Best cookie chosen by me and maybe a few other admins will judge this challenge. You have 7 days to complete this challenge. The challenge will end on 5/15 at 1am.

For complete rules and regulations, visit the announcement thread

Ha, what a fun contest idea! I fancy myself a baker, so I might have to join in on this one, just for the fun of it. XD

A real cookie - like the ones you make for Christmas and which you can eat?
But icing or form is Star Wars related?

Was there some other sort of cookie you were thinking of baking? ;)

That does give me an idea, though. I think bonus points should be given for uploading a video of yourself eating said cookie! XD

Yes a real cookie that you can decorate and eat.

Cookie form and decoration is entirely up to you.

Eh?!?!?

This challenge appeals to me more than the others do. I don't know whether it's to do with this being a more interesting perspective to take on the challenge as a whole, or moreso to do with my love of chocolate and cookies and chocolate cookies :p . Sounds like fun, so count me in...... I just hope i have a camera available though. :S

This is one I don't think I'll be able to compete in. Unless the burnt cookie produced can be counted as the Death Star...

You could just hit it with a green hammer (videoing it at the time) and say it's Alderaan being blown up.

Challenge 12? Isn't this Challenge 5? Is this just trying to be sneaky and weed out people who don't read the directions carefully? ;) (I was tempted to say nothing on the off chance that it might trip up some of the competition, but that seemed less than sporting, plus if it was simply a typo, and I FOLLOWED the directions as written, my entry might get overlooked, so I thought I'd better clarify.)

I hope you know that you need a Yahoo ID to get a Flickr! Sounds like you're new to the whole thing, considering you spelled flickr wrong ;)

Yup. I don't even like coconut, but it seemed the best choice. My wife ate it. :)

Yeah, I figured out I needed a Yahoo ID. (As well as figuring out the correct spelling. ;) )

How long does it normally take after the picture is submitted before it actually shows up? I'd like to know if I did it right.
