New minifig magnets with backplate

Postby Gingerbeard Man » Tue Apr 16, 2013 8:46 am

Some strange new magnets have popped up on S@H, sporting a "decorated backplate".

But note:
Minifigure is not detachable from decorated backplate

Lego, seriously, just give up on the magnet thing. I have no interest if the magnet is glued, attached, whatever. My suspicion is that most people feel the same way.

I'm OK with them when you can get them on clearance :P

I doubt they would continue to make them if they weren't selling.

I'm sure some people might even just use them as *gasp* magnets!

Interesting I was wondering how they were trying to justify rehashing old minifigures and jacking the price up to $8.99 CAD. "Oh look an extra piece!"

Saw these in the LEGO store and thought the same thing. $6.99? If it's just going to be a magnet, I'd rather buy the 2x4 brick ones.
