Two New Spinoff films

Ok, in addition to Epidodes VII, VIII, and IX, it seems Lucas is going to come out with two spinoff films too:

Really looking forward to what Lawrence Kasdan comes up with. He wrote the best SW screenplay of them all.

I am neither shocked, nor concerned about this. Whereas, I expected Fett to be one of them because of the almost frightening obsession people have with that character, I was sort've surprised by the younger Solo idea. I think both can be awesome!

I'm just hoping they'll be executed well... that's always the big issue, right?

I was pretty excited about the sequel trilogy coming out but idk if I can stand to see these spinoffs. Does anyone else feel like they will ruin the "pureness" of Star Wars by giving unnecessary backstories to film goers, just like the PT? Idk maybe it's just me
