Crud, just made me wonder...should I jump in head first for the Avengers sets when it hits any day now, or wait more than month to scoop up the Hulk at the same time!?!?!

I plan on getting whatever sets I can when they hit the shelves and then save the Quinjet set or the Spider-man set (which I think will be an exclusive at this point) for when the deal is offered. May have to do 2 $50 orders though...

Yea, I'm getting it. I have not made a Lego Purchase in awhile (aside from Bricklink) so I am due lol. Can anyone confirm if this was the same mini-figure given away at Lego Star Wars Days this year? I know last year it was the Black Arf Trooper for both LSD and the May the 4th promotion.

I hope so. I wasn't planning on getting R2 this soon, but there isn't anything else I really want to justify a purchase. Shop.lego indicates May 1st, so I'd go with that.

That chrome protocol droid is sexy, but I'm in the same boat as cas. I've already picked up everything I'm interested in from this wave, and am not the type of collector who goes for doubles. If I have the cash for a UCS set, then maybe I'll go for it, but I'm also saving up for an engagement ring. . .

First you'll save for the ring, then the wedding/honeymoon, then the kid(s) and then you'll need doubles like I suddenly do.

spoke to someone in the lego store in brighton, uk at the weekend. they had no idea what i was talking about when i mentioned this but kindly went and checked their intranet. the figs indeed available in the uk!

tc-14 is a star wars spend exclusive but the hulk figure is actually a £50 purchase on anything...

Anyone heard anything about Free Shipping any time in May? Particularly around the TC-14 and/or Hulk promos?

I am hoping to do 2 separate purchases and net at least one TC-14.

I am curious, with the second purchase will it be easier to trade off a second TC-14 or the Hulk. I am not following any of the Marvel stuff so I am not sure what Hulk would "fetch" compared to TC-14.

Any thoughts?
