Like I said, I have more but I am working on getting them displayed properly.

I think what we've learned here is that there are a metric buttload of ways to display one's minifig collection.

I'll hold my hands up and admit that it's mine. It's a frame that I built from scratch myself using 3x2 wood, painted them white and superglued white 2x8 flat Lego tiles on top of each row. I am however looking to move on from that frame since it's quite impossible to use glass at the front and I'm afraid that over time the dust is going to build up considerably.

I actually started replying to this thread because of the dust mentioned by darthius above. I had a display that I built out of hundreds of these stacked on top of each other and it just started getting dusty. The dust is impossible to get off of the lego pieces and you end up knocking the figures and pieces over when you dust.



I pretty much purchased all of the 30528 parts off of bricklink.

Here's my system. Need to expand upon it, since I'm running out of room now.

The black brick-built one from a page or two back is also mine. Wanted a nice protective case for my chrome minifigs. Need more trans-clear panels to make it all clear. Also need a white Boba Fett and the other exclusive minifigures.

i have all the sw minifig (and sets); i mean all, including the promos, the chrome, the gold (not the 24 K) (missing: the boba fett bronze and the new darth maul toy fair... for the moment)

what i want to share is this "ultimate" giude to sw minifigs and sets.
this is based on bricklink but goes further to where bricklink, bricksets, character encyclopedia go.

ALL is listes (but what is still to be released in 2012). nothing misses. promo, mini, polybag, art box variations, box variations in dimension, value packs, duplo sw... i mean ALL

Something a little different.

My kids were having trouble finding their favorite minifigs all mixed in a box, so I built them this wall-mounted display, designed more for utility and expandability over aesthetics. Now they have immediate access to any minifig theme (Star Wars takes up the top rows, of course), although I have declared some (chrome!) off-limits.

This brick-built display is 31" x 31", weighs 6 pounds empty, and can hold 300 minifigs. Made of 185 technic bricks, it's solid too (i.e. 'Kid-Proof'); you can throw it around and it won't break.
