Okay, I'm gonna try this. If you live in the U.S. and you've found a Chrome Vader in your LEGO Star Wars set, please reply to this thread with which set you found it in. I'll try and keep a running tally. This is only for U.S. as I understand that the U.S. market was the only country that is currently doing this promo. Of course, if I'm wrong, you can post anyway as long as you obtained it as a randomly inserted bonus in your retail set.

What better a thread than this for my first post. I was lucky enough today to get one of these chrome Vaders in a Assassin Droids battle pack . So I can vouch for all the others that have also found them in these same sets. It would appear that there is no exclusion of the battle packs in this random give-away.

Good Luck to everyone else hunting for these little gems. It really is a great minifig.

By the way, I bought my battle pack at Zellers. Is this the first confirmation in Canada?

Stick to the topic, please. If y'all really want to continue this conversation, start another topic. If y'all keep it up, I'm gonna go through and delete every single post in this thread that is not a report on where you found your Chrome Vader.

EDIT: Yep, done. I've deleted every single off-topic post in this thread. Any further posts made in this thread that don't have to do with you finding a Chrome Vader in a set WILL be deleted on sight.

If you guys want to continue the fine art of weighing LEGO sets to figure out whether or not a Chrome Vader is in them, please feel free to start a new topic about it.

I found one in my local Toys R Us by weighing about 20 different assassin droids battle packs on their shelf. No weird looks from anyone fortunately . I was planning to do a video like Starstreak but I decided not to chance it. I used a postage scale (ounces) and it turns out that the Chrome Darth Vader is approximately .2 ounces more! Good luck to all who haven't found one yet!

I found mine in my very first Clone Walker BP. I was excited, because it was months after the set was made, but it was the first time I'd seen the set at any of the retailers where I live, so when I opened to find a Vader, it was like, double whammy of awesome.

Found mine in a Clone Trooper Battle Pack purchased from a Target in Madison, WI.

I thought about LEGOBricks' comment and it made sense. I think weight measurement is one of Lego's QC procedures so I tried this with three unopened sets I had at home. Using my wife's food miniscale I found one of the three that deflected the needle ever so slightly more. gorram straight if that one didn't have the chrome Vader inside!

I got 2 today! That's right, not one but two!!! I got them both in Clone Walker Battle Packs today at the Target I work at in the Portland area. I did employ the weigh-in method.
