Human-sized LEGO Lightsabers

Postby Staff » Sat Sep 25, 2010 1:07 am

Linked to me by Don, these are human-sized LEGO Lightsabers. Hit the image to go to James Kenobi 1138's gallery of all his lightsabers, but i'll save you the trouble and show the other two relevant images of his LEGO lightsabers below:

Man, I wish they were for sale. That would be awesome to have next to my two MR sabers.

These are pretty cool. I actually would like to see the little bubbles like in the smaller ones. What I 've seen of the after market, bubbles in the "lighty" part that is generally undesirable. Still... it would seem even closer to authentic. Without the bubbles it doesn't take away how sweet these are in the greater scope of this idea.

Are they one piece; or do they come in two sections like the originals?

Awesome.

One question though - I did notice the picture up top in the banner and the pictures of the sabers in the original post.

Which orientation is correct? The handle on the picture in the banner has the 4 "nibs" around the base closer to the lightsaber blade, but on Don's human sized Lego sabers the 4 "nibs" are closer to the end of the handle.

We've been over that. Also, these (sadly) aren't mine. I just ran across the pics and showed Ace the other night, and he peed himself with glee posted them on the mainpage.

And even in THAT topic, half of it was fighting over the fact that there was already a thread for it.

Hopefully Lego will hook you up for this great idea! This would be a surefire winner in the marketplace, no doubt (assuming Hasbro allows Lego to bring it to market in competition w/it's own line of sabers).

Dunno it doesn't look like "regular" jedi sabers. I want it so bad. :(
