Death star diorama

Postby Jayisthedank » Sat Feb 21, 2009 11:26 am

About 2 years ago i found a diorama of the death star shipbay with the millenium falcon in it. it was huge and amazingly detailed. all along the sides and back were open hallways with figures walking around and stuff. I can not find it anywere online now and i was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction

Could this be it? It's a creation by Philip Morgan on Mocpages. http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/10353

Nice find. That's probably what he was talking about. I did some searching of my own, and couldn't really find anything else that rival this.

i know what you're talking about, unfortunately the name of the builder escapes my mind. he is local to southern california though; he displays the piece you're talking about at the star wars weekends at LEGOland. i think he is involved with a lego train club here, but NOT SCLTC. hope that narrows it down a bit for you.

Oh, I remember that diorama. That was where i first got the idea of using black Samurai helmets from the old 1998 Ninja sets as helmets for my Death Star Troopers.
