Not read, but know the jist of. I was really hoping someone wouldn't bring that up. It always sounded so stupid. I mean that, along with loads of Jedi surviving Order 66? Did ROTS mean anything.

Still, as all those clones stem from one book group, by one author, I think we can pretty much close those stories into that section of the mythos. I think Star Wars wouldn't repeat itself twice in that form.

Almost like how will Ashoka dies. Share your ideas here. I think he'll die when he gets stuck on Tatooine and fall into the sarlacc pit.

Anyway, you're making an assumption that Rex will die in the show. If he's part of the 501st, couldn't he keep on fighting as the Republic becomes an Empire?

I think you are not only underestimating Star Wars, but also one of the key concepts of narrative. Death is a very big thing and if it is of a big character that many people (children - shows target audience) like, it won't be simply brushed over.

Have you seen AOTC? Clones have to follow orders given to them by their leaders. The highest leader is Palpatine, so whatever he says, goes. The clones don't have free will in the sense that every other character does. They can be individual, but must always follow orders. If that order is to get a takeaway, or kill Jedi, the clones will follow it.

Ummm... don't you watch the Clone Wars? That one clone didn't follow orders and helped the CIS, although it was to help his brothers, he betrayed the Jedi. And clones must report to Jedi.

I have watched both the Clone Wars and remember that episode. I can't remember at any point in it seeing proof it wasn't part of a plot by Palpatine. Besides, I don't think you can put 'Canon' and 'Clone Wars' in the same pot.

If all clones must report to Jedi, then how come they are so quickly to backstab them. They do what the grand leader says.

Think of it this way:

Clone Trooper- Low man on the totem pole. Reports to everyone below.

All Special Clones (pilot, gunner, etc.)- Orders regular Clones. Reports to everyone below.

Clone Commanders and ARC Troopers- Orders everyone above, reports to everyone below.

Jedi Generals- Orders everyone above, reports to the Jedi Council.

Jedi Council- Orders everyone above, reports to the Senate. [NOTE: The Council can overrule the Senate]

Senate- Orders all above but the Jedi. Reports to Surpreme Chancellor Palpatine

Surpreme Chancellor Palpatine- Orders all above. Reports to nobody.
