About the white Boba Fett, I don't think that it will be this year's C-3PO or Vader as it was just packaged in a polybag. The chrome Vader from last year's Toy Fair had a special box with his most popular quotes, remember? ;)

Aww, that's too bad. :(
Thanks for all the detailed pics, though! :D

I was hoping to see the new Power Functions train sets. They were on display at the Nuremburg Toy Fair, so I wonder why LEGO didn't have them in NY?

Thanks for the pictures Ace. We've made an article on FBTB's Coverage for the New York Toy Fair over here. If you would prefer us not to do so, please notify us.

Because they are delayed for a year while they are reworked.

I'm most excited about Luna Lovegood, my favorite HP character. All the HP figures seem to have better hair/expressions - especially like Ron's hair from the Hogwarts Express (and Bellatrix). I'm most excited about this series even though I have most of the sets from previous releases.

I noticed a mistake in the Features page of the site. If you click the text "Toy Fair 2010," it links you to the 2009 Toy Fair page. ;)

This is mainly for ACE, thank you very much for the photos, you settled a lot of arguments, mainly the re-introduction of Harry Potter for one?
Which brings me to my question, what figures come in these sets as I have noticed there are a few that I don't recall, can you clear up this up please, as the photo's although very clear don't hold enough detail to make out some of the characters features.
I had most of the older one's at one stage, and wanted to collect the main figures as from what I've seen these are more detailed, thanks again, cheers Marty.

you know, if i had read the books or was any sort of fan, i'd be able to tell you from memory, but seeing as to how neither of those are true, i can't help you.

i'll send an email to my media contact to see if she can spill the beans any.

Don't know if you're thinking about some of the characters featured on the boxes but as here they appear to be place holder designs, done while the models are still being finalised. If not, sorry! Move along, nothing to see here!

Although I won't be able to afford half of these sets, I'm very excited about them. There's so many new minifigures, and so many new molds. I'm starting to see why Lego's prices were skyrocketing this year.

i think the white fett is cool and all as a concept, but i really think they should have gone with the new mold for this exclusive version -- but seeing as there's only 150 out there and i never really liked the old "helmet attached to jetpack" design anyway, i am not really tempted to own "white boba".

this does present a problem though....... to all the "i only collect minifigs" people. chrome 3po and vader weren't that hard to snag, but this guy? i predict some very sad, or very broke, minifig collectors. :'(

one more thing, do we know that the bossk minifig is final? i just can't believe they went with that sand green color for his head and hands instead of the correct orange/brownish color. i just don't get that, lego -- maybe i should do an "ask steve" if he's still around...

Considering that the Bossk minifig looks exactly like that in the LEGO Star Wars games, I'd say it's a final design.

Is that Zev Senesca in the Wampa set, or just a rebel pilot? If it is, they should have made the Hoth battlepacks come with a plain snowspeeder pilot, and Zev exclusive to the Wampa.

Thanks for the link, it's cleared up some of my questions, "Werewolf & Mrs Weasley?" not bad!, and again sorry for this not being a SW question.

Cheers Marty

well that's........odd. ok, so when you were told LFL requested green for a character most sw fans know to be orange/tan in the movie, what did your source say when you asked why LFL would request bossk to be colored incorrectly? ....because that's the obvious follow-up question.
