I thought anyone could attend toyfair but only attendes could go to lego party. How do you even get on the mailing list for this anyway?

toy fair is an industry trade show. as such only retailers, manufacturers, distributors, and press may attend. it is not open to the public.

the lego collector party is a special event where select members of the press and lego fan sites are invited for a special preview of the 2010 product line up.
