These are both great! The pirate tank looks good as a vehicle, and for pieces, and we get two alien dudes, which is always fun. The Falcon is also great, but i can't help but feel that its originality is somewhat in doubt...

I will admit that I knew about there being a new, smaller Millenium Falcon this year, although I hadn't seen any pictures yet. It looks to be the size I thought it would be, and am excited about it (I don't have a Millenium Falcon yet).

I have to say, although I was initially cynical about this year, it's really starting to shape up for OT fans such as myself:
  • Darth Vader's Tie
  • Echo Base
  • The Battle of Endor
  • Home 1 Playset
  • Millenium Falcon

There's a lot to love this year: New Vader minifig, Taun Tauns, ewoks, a new AT-ST, Mon Mothma, Admiral Ackbar, and a green A-Wing (I missed the 2006 one, sadly, it's the only 2006 set I don't have).

So while the young 'uns have their Clone Wars sets, I'll be sticking to these guys.

Tank looks meh, Falcon is a bit meh but it's still the Falcon so it's automatically cool.

Nice. Looks like the MF actually has space for TWO figs next to each other in the cockpit! I doubt their is any interior to speak of, maybe a few chairs and a hallway? Pirate tank actually has MORE pieces than the MF. Also noticed no figs with the MF. Of course, these maybe simply pre-lim pics. My guess they will both be less than $50.

These both look great, and I don't want to ruin your fun, but they both do have the confidential tag on them.

Well the tank looks very well made...I just wish that it would have a head modify. Well they are going out with like 7 different head modify in SPIII.

I don't think this Falcon has space for any figures, the canopy piece is a brick.

I'm really impressed by the OT sets as well, and that tank looks quite appealing as well. More wants to add to this year. :( I really need a job

Very interesting... I doubt I'll be picking up either but I definitely look forward to better images.

I honestly don't think there's gonna be any interior inside the Millennium Falcon at all because firstly, I don't see any minifigs in the picture. It sure looks pretty nicely done, but kind of awkward for me (the small size) because I'm used to looking at my 4504 MF. But for those who just care about having a cheap MF for display purposes, this one is one that you should get! Details look really nice as well, better than that of the 4504 falcon.

As for the pirate tank, I'm not sure. It's a vehicle I have never seen before and has minifigs that I have never seen before either, except for the Obi-wan. The ship looks fairly nice and the price shouldnt be too high. But I'm gonna turn down this one to save money for other, more recognizable sets. The minifigs don't attract me, but things will probably change when we get larger pictures. :)

The Falcon looks good, but I'm afraid that it is hurt by the scale at which its portrayed. I think it's too small to look good with minifigures, but is a little too big and will be a little to expensive to fit into mini collections. Maybe I'm wrong and it will look okay with minifigures.

The pirate tank looks okay, but it doesn't "wow" me enough for me to buy it. Nice to see some Weequayan figures; I hope the head print isn't too cartoony.

I agree, there is very little chance of that Falcon being able to have min-figs ins it. Also, it is only 356 pieces, and like was mentioned above, there are no mini-figs in the picture. Assuming the recent lego pricing policy, it will probably be around $70 Canadian, which is not bad for a Falcon, and seeing as how I never was able to score either of the original 2, I might pick this up. Have to see it in person first though.

well I would guess around $30 U.S. Now that's low for the piece count but keep in mind that there are probably no minifigs in this set, making it cheaper for TLC to make. If I never had my 4504 falcon, I would buy this one. It looks quite a bit more accurate than mine just at the cost of the lack of interior and minifigs (size will probably not be a big issue) Can't wait to see real pictures and uncover all the little details about this set.

Though I don't like the falcon, I do like the concept of more medium sized vehicles. Maybe an ISD or SSD. XD

Pirate tank is neat.

Well, I definately won't be getting the Pirate tank, but I will be getting the Mid-scale Millenium Falcon considering I don't own any of the falcons already released by TLG. I'm still kicking myself for not buying a 4504 Millenium Falcon when I saw it back in 2005 at Target >:( . I thought there would be more time to get one...wrong!!! Even though I'm somewhat dissapointed by it, I will get it eventually. Thanks for the pictures :) .

The Millenium Falcon isn't quite what I thought it would be. The detail, on the other hand, looks top notch. You can't complain about the scale because I think the designers were trying to make it fit in the new Home 1 set. (Don't quote me)

The tank looks quite nice, too. The new Weequay minifigs will also come in handy for anyone trying to fill up their Sail Barge. I am a little dissapointed, however, that it doesn't come with a Jar Jar to mangl- I mean play with.

This year is looking to be one of the most promosing minifig years ever! :D

Being awesomely swooshable? ;) I love it, can't wait to pick one up. The tank, besides appears to be a good brown and tan pack, looks like it could be fun to zoom around. Swooshing and zooming... Is there really more to life than that?

I see they kind of went a little overboard with the Pirates. One of them has a peg leg apparently. A cutlass too.

Falcon looks nice, and easily affordable too.
