If you're attending the San Diego Comic Con and will be there on Thursday, you may be interested in attending the panel discussion of LEGO Star Wars. It will be held in Room 8 on Thursday between 1:30pm and 2:30pm. Below is an excerpt from the Press Release:

I think this is obvious; Why have you kept the license going on so long and when will you finally kill this line?

Actually I would like to know if they intend on doing more fan based sets or more sets geared to the AFOL?

I remember somehwere seeing the exclusive minifigure... it's a Yavin IV Luke with medal. Why are they going to 'unveili' it if we already know what it is.

I can't believe the one year I'm missing the con is the same year that Lego Star Wars has a gorram panel.

You can't ask about future releases. And I can tell you the answer - No. Kids toy, therfore toy is aimed at kids.

You don't know that. And if you would have paid attention to that survey I posted recently, AFOL geared sets are high on the request list, so they might actually take it into consideration.

Also, UCS line ring a bell? Those aren't exactly aimed at kids. And I mean "true UCS", not the minifig orgies like the Sandcrawler and Deah Star.

I made a generalisation (and am sorry if it offended). I was more saying to banthafodder that there wouldn't be any MORE fan sets than at present.
