New Mystery 2009 Set?

The reason FBTB came to be. We don't forget our roots.

Looked around the internet for a bit, didn't see anything to back up the Jedi Council claim.

Although, keep in mind that there is nothing to say for sure this is the 10nth Anniversary set. It is rather likely, but we can't limit our speculation to just iconic scenes.

no mystery set from the rumors  the mystery was that there was a 25% discount on the falcon it was CLOUDED IN MYSTERY because no one expected a 5k piece lego set retail for 275 dollars and the falcon CLOUDS AROUND IN THE SKY

Someone on Eurobricks said what the set was(I won't tell cause some people won't
want me to) buuut... the set number was said to be 10198!
Won't say anything else just in case.

If this is the 10198 set you're talking about, it was said to be a fake set I think back in March or something like that. Just some photoshopping someone did to spark mass chaos in the lego world. If this isn't what you're talking of, then I'm still wondering who said what on Eurobricks ;) .

This was posted on Eurobrick. All the pictures for the upcoming sets were taken down. I cannot say anything about the validity of the confirmation or who confirmed it. I took down the quote as to what the "confirmed" set was but it was not the fake jedi starfighter.

The only information available is sketchy at best, but still more news than we had a few hours ago.

Why thank you very much...I guess that helps a little. I guess it's not super reliable information at the moment, but it's still great to have some knowledge. I just don't like the possible price I head for the minifig Tantive IV...$250.

"Blockade Runners"? So, what, they're going to have two or three of them? :S

I thought that was odd too :| .I think that it will be more the playset type then
the UCS type, maybe like the Republic cruiser(recent, red, hunk 'o' junk J.K)
I really hope its like that except bigger with more room inside for minifigs and
a lot more sturdy! Princess leia, and some 'ada' dudes ;) .

"SW Blockade Runners" sounds like a goofy name for a set in my opinion, and doesn't really sound official. But it will be hard to resist not to buy a set that includes a Tantive IV. If the mystery set isn't related to Cloud City, I would really want a Tantive IV. No doubt one of the major (and short) parts of the film, but it would be even better than its predecessor if it had minifigs. Too bad I missed the pics before they were deleted. :(

More rebels! (not like I really need any since I'm satisfied with my 2 Rebel BPs) Finally a set that uses these Rebels where they really belong. (if it really is the set)

Japanese catalogue reveals three new exclusives
New set news Posted by Huw, May 8 2009 3:22AM
Rob W has sent news of a new Japanese 'Clickbrick' (the name of the LEGO brand stores in Japan, I believe) catalogue which lists three previously unknown sets:

10196: Creator Merry-Go-Round
10198: Star Wars Tantive IV blockade runner
10199: Creator Christmas set
Update: scans of the catalogue are available at http://legojapan.seesaa.net/, 5 pages: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5. Unfortunately the Tantive IV is not shown.

This was on brickset and showed a picture of the carousel but no picture of the Tantive IV. I also can't read Japanese so there you go. Take it for what it's worth.

So, same info reported yesterday, just worded more clearly. Nothing confirmed but few doubts remain.

The good thing is that we now know which blockade runner to expect and that there will only be 1 blockade runner in the set. Previously, it was called "blockade runnerS".

It made no sense to have a set with two large ships when there was only the Tantive IV. Spelling errors occur like that in translation, you just have to use common sense.
