You may be confusing it with Anakin's Fighter. Target doesn't carry Ahsoka's Fighter.

Also consider though that this set has no minifigures, thus bringing the price down somewhat.

I really don't have a problem with this set. I don't have 500 dollars for the ucs millenium falcon but i want one, so I think this is a great set for collectors that are on a budget. I also like the design and how much detail is put into the midi millenium falcon

HAs anyone picked one of these up yet? I keep looking at Wal-Mart and haven't seen any.

Saw earlier in this thread that July 1st was the release, but I thought I'd seen August 1st somewhere too.

Just wanna know when to hit Wal-Mart... Thanks!

My local LEGO store got them in stock a couple weeks ago (they were nice enough to show me the palette of sets in the back and then wonder why I wanted to buy it at all, given the price ) and they'll be putting them out for sale on August 1st.

I've been hitting up local Walmart this month as I'm out and about with no luck so far. Given that it's only a week away, August 1st seems to be the street date for everyone.

It's available at S@H, but I couldn't find a link to it via the normal route, but it showed up on a Google search:

$39.99. :S

I just don't know. I've got 4504 in a box because I've got no place to put it (my shelves are full, especially my armoire, where I put larger sets that don't fit on normal shelves). But while I've been holding onto it (I bought it during a black Friday sale for only $75), the value has ballooned, so now I'm not sure what to do with it. But $40 for the little midi scale? I think I'll wait. Maybe they'll go on clearance sometime; otherwise I think I can live without it... $10 less... maybe even $5 less... but I think they pushed it over the top for me.

They're listing it under the Clone Wars section. Why? I have no idea.

I think they should continue this scale . I have good ideas for this scale that I have made like the Tantive IV and the Republic Gunship .

If I were to pick this up, it would be built once then turn into a parts pack....but seeing all the cooler new sets that are hitting, this is way down on my list. I will always prefer minifigs with my sets.

mini/midi... I just got a bunch of clear antennas and dishes and was using them for displaying my mini models - TIE fighters, X-wings...

And it occurs to me that this midi size Falcon is more commensurate with those models than the mini Falcon.

Anyone seen this in a walmart yet? I thought they were supposed to be a walmart exclusive released on Aug 1st. I have yet to see one in the store or on their website.

this is one set that doesnt actually interest me at all.

for the price and the fact it is midi-scale, i dont think its worth buying. all it is is a display set, otherwise theres nothing too great about it.

ill wait for it to go on clearance at wal-mart lol before i buy it.

It's well worth buying.I picked mine up yesterday and
I've built it 3 times already. It's fun to build, play with,
and it looks great. $40 may seem over priced, but when you've
seen the inside of it it looks pretty complex.

Did you get it at Walmart or at the Lego Store?

I got it at the Palisades mall Lego store(in NY) because I was coming home from a
trip to Missouri. I live in Connecticut.

Finally! My local Walmart had it in stock today so I picked it up for $39+tax. So at least they're starting to show up in stores now.
