StarWars.com released a trailer earlier this week for their upcoming fifth season of The Clone Wars giving some hints as to what's to come. Season 5 will premier sometime in the fall on Cartoon Network. Most likely on a Friday. At 8pm.

I can't wait! I hope they don't do a bunch of boring political episodes this season.

Maul was sorely misused last season and the episodes overall were quite inconsistent (but when has The Clone Wars not been schizo?). This trailer looks cool, but if they pull back the punches again with the Death Watch it'll be a travesty. These are dark times coming and Satine's foolish pacifist state must crash and burn.
