Target clearance

Postby banthafodder » Fri Jul 19, 2013 9:47 am

I was at my local Target in CA and found LOTR sets on clearance
The Mines set was 55.98 from 79.99 and the Orc Forge 27.98 from 39.99
They also had the monster hunters castle for 59.98

Seen similar things at my local stores. A couple of old LotR sets (and spots for the new ones), the Quinjet (but no other Avengers sets), and some random city stuff on clearance.
If the above post didn't offend you, you're probably reading it wrong.

I can confirm the $65 Goblin King price. It finally went low enough in price to justify picking it up and completing my set of dwarfs.
Check out my daily Lego picture at alegoaday.com.

Has anyone found Helm's Deep on clearance?

Some people on Rebelscum's forums have found it on clearance for a great price, unfortunately, every place except TRU hasn't carried it around me for a loooonnnnngggggggg time.

I'd be willing to buy one if someone spots it for cheap. Other than that, may have to break down and order it from either Amazon or Target's website, both have it for around $114 and free shipping, unfortunately I'd still have to pay sales tax on either site. :(

Anybody seen the Star Wars Advent Calendar on Clearance, at Target or elsewhere? Every year I hear of it being on huge clearance, yet every year I never see it on anything other than a very modest sale near where I live. Maybe if I knew for sure where to look...

I really haven't seen much of these at regular price much less a discount. My local target hasn't had them out for the past ten days or so. The last few years they were on clearance for at least a week after Christmas.

Our local target (Mississauga, ON, Canada) still has full price star wars advents on the shelf. They seem to refuse to want to get rid of them.
