6869 Quinjet Aerial Battle Finally Discounted

Finally. A discount. I've been monitoring this set since around November hoping to see it at a nice discount, but it never dropped more that 14% and that was to coincide with the DVD release. But now, you can pick up 6869 Quinjet Aerial Battle at a pretty nice discount: down 20% from MSRP of $69.99. It is now priced at $55.99. Pretty nice!

Although I hate Walmart, a few weeks ago this set and the Ghost Train were sitting in the clearance. Since I rarely see Lego in clearance I picked up both the Quinjet for $54 and the Ghost Train for I think $50.

yeah, i was hoping to find one during walmart clearance, but no luck.

The Quinjet did have a damaged Box however which I know for some (sometimes me) is a freak out point! LOL It was a fun build and this weekend I may try to do some sort of a B build.
