LEGO Shop@Home now lists 10937 Batman: Arkham Asylum Breakout as available and ready to ship a few days earlier than their January 1 date announced previously. As rehashes and redesigns go, this set looks to be a fantastic upgrade from the previous version. It'll set you back $159.99, but you'll get 1,619 pieces and 8 minifigures. I'm going to see if I can pick up this set this weekend. I can't wait!

Ha - I was going to say something on the same subject. Back in the old forums (06-07ish) somebody endorsed the previous Arkham because it "had friggin' Nightwing".

Yes, I wish this had at least some new hero or villain, as opposed to just redesigns. At least it's got the awesome new Arkham Jumpsuit.

Although I like the architecture of this, when I saw it at BrickCon I was disappointed in that it had very little depth, if you looked at the profile you would see the main building is on 6-8 stud deep plates and feels much like a thin dollhouse.

Hello again and Merry Christmas,
I too have thought Lego has been slack on the mini figure front concerning this set, compared with the earlier set it did have night wing and more guards. But the more gothic look and better interior more than makes up for this.
I've ordered mine a week before Christmas as Australia got it released early, but it will arrive in the new year like everyone else's, my only disappointment is that the other set is to be released later. The bat boat with Mr Freeze, would it have killed the to include him. In this set!
Still, I hope to improve on this as I do reckon it could be made much better, also as someone else pointed out, no picture for the riddler, yet more penny pinching by Lego, perhaps there might be an add-on later?
