Supposedly you can return them right before close and then get there first thing the next morning.

Or find another store with a million of them. Buy those and then return the others.

bags were 0.00 on the price checker this morning, I tried to clean out the store of all the Ninjago, Atlantis and a few Star Wars I found....took them over to the Service Desk where they usually let you buy them at the last price in the system, but they refused to do that this time, they even had the little half pint manager come over and tell me they don't do that for which I called BS since they had just done it 2 days earlier on a Halloween item I had found that had went to salvage on Tuesday. They still refused, but offered me a $3 off coupon that he called an "Oops" coupon.......grrrrrrr.....I had about 60-70 bags in the basket.

I had the same experience as Qzak at 2 different targets last night. Said they would slavage them, and sell them at the last price they had in the system, which was $3.99 of course.

I even showed them the receipts I had from 2 other targets where I had bought them at $.39

Oddly, just found 10 Republic Cruisers at Target. Back up to $3.99. Boo!

Where did you find them? By the registers? I know a Target I visited a few days ago was cleaned out of Lego near the registers and there wasn't a bin for the Republic ships in the holiday section, just Potter and Kingdoms. I guess I need to check again soon.

Yep, the Republic Cruisers are shelved in the register aisles, not seasonal. Several stores near me have started stocking them this past week.

Yep, by the registers. I had personally cleared this Target out the previous week. I will never understand some business decisions...

i'm pretty sure the republic cruiser wasn't supposed to go out until the ninjago assortment was sold through. target has a habit of sharing dpci numbers between products, hence why both were coming up the same price. that's why the price went back up and you're only seeing or should only be seeing the cruisers.

Then maybe I'll still have a chance to get one. Provided, of course, that I don't have a fan living in MY area with a penchant for going in and "clearing out" a store's whole supplies of these kinds of sets. I have to wonder, because the stores in my area pretty much NEVER have any of the Star Wars minis, and few of the other polybags, too.
