Update: The set sold out pretty quickly from Amazon. It still has yet to show up on Shop@Home though. We'll keep you posted when it does.

Amazon.com is now selling the 7958 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar for $39.99. It qualifies for Free Super Saver Shipping. If history is any indication, the specialty Advent Calendar sets (read non-City) tend to sell out quickly. I would be surprised if this was still available by the time December rolls around. This is one item I would suggest not waiting for a price deal on. Free shipping and no tax to most states will probably be the best deal you'll get.

Don't forget, this isn't time to start worrying since this set hasn't been officially released yet. Also, it's Star Wars, so this was probably produced in higher numbers than the other (Pirates, Castle) Advent Calendars.

the specialty themed advent calendars were always a little more expensive, like the castle one from a few years ago. that too was 40 buckaroos.

The city calendar this year is $35 USD, $40 CAD (worth more than a USD, so what's up LEGO???), you can expect the Star Wars one to be coming in $40 USD and I think it's $50 CAD. Right? THe exlusive ones always had a big premium on them.
