Be prepared for shipping delays on the hogwart castle. I ordered mine on Saturday and I got a shipping delay notice via email today. obviously its attracting alot of buyers. Shipping delay in the past meant that you were going to eventually get it or even get two (from two different warehouses). These days, shipping delay, in the worst case scenario, could mean they oversold and its out of stock resulting in none being shipped to you!

Barnes and Nobel is really bad with their shipping delays. I ordered two DVDs from them and they took over a month to get to me. I also ordered a book that was on a really great sale and then without explanation they actually canceled my order on me. I've called and complained both times this has happened. It is really frustrating! So beware their shipping delays! Both times I was unsatisfied by their customer service people's explanation on why they did what they did.

I ordered the two Potter sets over the weekend when they were $5 cheaper. I did get a shipping delay but it was only for one day. They are now shipped and I should get them on Friday.

A note on the Hogwarts Castle. I got an email from bn.com last night with coupon for 30% off one toy item. There is a "Toy and Games" icon/image they put on the product page if the item qualifies. I am at work, so I dont have the coupon code, but it seemed the hogwarts castle was the only lego set that I could find that qualified for the 30% off coupon. Think the code is valid till November 1st. Check you emails if you are member of BN.

Also, if anyone else finds other lego sets that qualify for this coupon code (also post the code), post them here. I will try to remember to post the code when i get home this even.

edit - side note - There is also a printable 30% off one toy item for in store in the same email. I am going to swing by a BN on my way home to see if I can snag a 30% on star wars legos. I read over the coupon and there are no exclusions printed anywhere.

F9E7A9P worked better for me, as a B&N member; it only applies to items marked and you've got a couple hours left, apparently. My order:

Subtotal: $116.95
Member Discount: -$25.99
Sales Tax: $5.46
Order Total $96.42
(You saved $4.98 on shipping)

So... about a total of 30% off, but then plus tax. Also, free shipping was 2/3 day shipping for being a member.

EDIT: I also tried putting three things in my cart and did not get any 3 for 2 discount; I would have gotten the Hogwarts Express and Slave 1... but they are sold out of Slave 1, so I tried the Whitehouse, and got nothing. Three Hogwarts castles, though, comes up as $220 with the J4B8W4L code (I'm am going back and forth between member and non member accounts... this second one is a non-member account). Now I'm torn about hoarding three sets that I don't need and know for sure I will only ever sell some years down the road, or just get the one for $91, which makes me happy enough... I think I'll stick with the one.

$$#@ing bull%$#. I ordered Monday night ONE Hogwarts Castle and was only just notified they cancelled my order; no rain check, no nothing, just %%$#@ "we are unable to fulfill your order." I went to the customer service page and demanded to know why they couldn't fulfill my order... and when I clicked "send," on their OWN gorram PAGE, I got an error.

Suffice it to say as a member who has made plenty of purchases there, including TWO Nooks a matter of weeks before they dropped the price last spring, BN is officially on my $#@#% list.

Same here (mine got canceled out from under me). Presumably all of the 3-castle orders depleted their stock faster than they could update inventory on the site (just a guess). Anyway, we have a stash of HP year 1 from eBay for christmas gifts, but if anybody did receive their 3-castle order and would like to share, please PM me as well.
