The TRU website says sold out for the CTT but I was able to place an order with the discount on the TRU mobile website on my phone. On my order confirmation email, it says in stock.

i dont think so, they are showing in stock so you know they are still giving him out with purchase, im pretty sure there was never an add to cart button.

I called customer service to try to order a set and they said even though there is a price, the system cannot add them to an order unless you buy the qualifying items. In the stores however they ring up as one cent so they will not sell them to you like they did with the $2.99 chrome trooper. The manager can lower a price but has no way to increase one.

The Minigure magnets ship separately in a padded yellow envelope. Why they wasted their money and didn't just throw it into the main order box is beyond me. In fact they shipped both my large sets from the order separately, but the boxes they came in were so huge they could have fit both into one, plus the magnet. Makes no sense, but shipping was free so I'm not complaining.

Ahh, maybe I should check my mail. And yes, you'd think they'd like to save some money w/ the free shipping deal. Maybe that's why their stuff is always marked up. haha

I ordered two large set, got both of them in separate boxes... no mini-figure. I sent customer service an email about the promotion, and asked if they could send me a minifigure, and they said... "Due to high demand the minifigure may be out of stock. This is why we label the promotions 'while supplies last'". So, yeah, they will not send me the minifigure, or a minifigure from another week.. sucks.

I guess I can hold out hope they might send it in a seperate yellow envelope... but I received my order a couple days ago, how long did it take to get teh minifigure after the order came?

My minifigure came before my main order did. As long as you saw the minifigure magnet listed on your final invoice page when you placed your order, you will almost surely get one. When it went out of stock it didn't show up in carts anymore.
