Not always. Many happy customers are more likely to shop again and spend more later than one happy reseller.

Well, after missing all the times it was up yesterday, I emailed Lego to see if it would be available again this year (as it is currently available in Europe). If so, no biggie, I'll just buy it from Lego later in the year. Once they reply I'll post here, so everyone will know.

Shipping estimate is August 23; I only got it (EDIT: "made the order") late last night, so perhaps it will show up today, but they will perhaps not charge the card until ready to ship, as has been the case with my last few orders.

Has anyone been charged yet for the purchase? I was able to get a set on Monday morning and Tuesday night, but haven't seen it register on my credit card.

I ordered mine last night and this morning my card was charged and it has been shipped. The shipping estimate is Aug 20th. However I do have Amazon Prime so I don't know if that made a difference or not.

I received mine today, the boxes all had significant creases and shelf wear, so it's probably from some stock that's been handled a bunch. Anyone else had this?

I'm still jealous of you guys that got them! Anybody wanna sell me one for a small (maybe $10?) premium over what you paid plus shipping to me without the box? (especially if someone was planning on reselling one or more and has one with a crushed box...)

*edit: or perhaps in some sort of trade for some of the collectable minifigures? (series one now, or two when I get my shipment in)

I don't think LEGO would re-release (at least in North America) the exact same Winter Toy Shop because they have the 10216 Winter Village Bakery lined up for release in October. Hopefully 10216 will be a world-wide release, and not just Europe-only.

Someone over on the BL forum said that their local Lego store confirmed the winter toy shop is being re-released in the US this year... We'll see, I suppose.
