Free LEGO Star Wars Pen and Minifigure With Purchase At Toys'R'Us

Toys'R'Us online and brick & mortar stores are offering a free LEGO Star Wars pen with any LEGO game or construction set purchase of $19.99 or more. Excludes video games and electronics. Offer good while supplies last through 6/19/2010. The ad doesn't explicitly say which minifig you will get, if it is a Star Wars figure, a Collectible Minifigure, or what, but if anyone out there knows, I invite you to drop us a line or post in the forum thread.

Update: Popular theory is that the minifig you get is the one that's included in the pen set. Lame.

And they look like the standard LEGO Writing Systems re-molded figures - legs are fixed/not really a mini-figure at all. Maybe trying to get some extra play from the collectible mini-figure craze???

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you can take it apart and switch "that sweet minifig" so if you're feeling snarky you can put Vader in and if you're feeling attracted to your sister you can leave Luke in.

Just went and picked up a PoP set to get my free pen and Minifigure... All I got for free was the Pen set, so it seems that is the minifigure they are talking about. I can hardly contain my excitement.

Yeah I saw the pens the vader minifig is just like the vader in the picture they are bundled together, kinda lame.

i know this is old and expired, but when i went in, the store ran out of pens and the minifig they were giving away was one free collectible minifig. picked up an extra cheerleader. 4 more to go!

You're lucky, because the pen/minifig combo is a cheap piece of garbage.
