Collectible Minifigs Series 1 Now Available

It appears that the Lego retail stores are still receiving Series 1 shipments. The Santa Clara, CA store got several cases in this morning. That particular store is probably sold out by now, but if you live near a retail store and are still looking for the minifigs, it might be worth a call.

Argh...if I had went there yesterday instead of Sunday I would've been able to finally get a whole set!

EDIT: I called the store just now and they already ran out of minifigs.

Almost every person in the new Rockefeller Center, NYC LEGO Store had a few in their hands today, so yeah - LEGO Brand Stores seem to still be receiving them.

I've seen someone online trying to trade series 2 figures, claiming they found them at target. Sounds legit.

Well it was on craigslist so I don't see why anyone would claim to swap series 2 figures if they didn't have any...

But I haven't heard anyone else say they're out yet so who knows.

I spoke with a Lego Store employee at the Sacramento store. She said they were sold out and were not going to get anymore. She said Series 1 was done and Series 2 would be starting in a few months. The Roseville TRU also said they were sold out and hadn't gotten any more for quite a while.

I found these at an Urban Outfitters for $5 a piece. I went ahead and cleaned up the my collection with the last few that I was missing. If anyone needs one and is willing to pay their markup plus shipping, lmk.
