it's funny - amazon hadn't lowered the price on the Vader TIE when i checked, otherwise i would've added that, as well.

I don't know if it really matters where you buy the sets. If you buy at either Walmart or TRU you don't get to use or obtain VIP points. Now if you don't care about that, you can sign up for another website and get points for your purchases that you can then turn in for gift cards and such to places like Walmart. Mypoints.com. A great site.

i've found the only real reason to go for VIP points is if you're already going to the LEGO store for an event or for double-points. $7 off a $30 set is better than $5 back after spending $100 any day.
