Walmart Rolls Back Price On Midi-Scale Falcon: $25

Postby Staff » Sat Dec 05, 2009 1:28 am

RIght now through December 12 or as long as supplies last, you can score a 7778 Midi-scale Millennium Falcon for $25, down from $39, at Walmart. It's sold out online, so you may have better luck at retail locations. If it pops back up online, I'll update this post. For yourself, or better yet, as a gift, it is an excellent set, and at $25 bucks, how can you not pick one up?

Thanks to Casey for sending in the tip.

At $40, I didn't want this. At $25...sold...at roughly 7 cents a brick, that's below the norm for SW. I still think the packaging should be OT black with the anniversary logo rather than the clones, but that won't stop me from picking this up.

I agree, this was the one set that I was going to pass on but at less than 10 cents a brick, I had to get it.

Unfortunately my local Walmart still has them at $39 as of 2pm Sunday the 6th. I'll keep checking.

If you can get a copy of the ad, they should adjust it for you.

My local Walmart had it for $28 in store but was sold out.
They had a large Rollback price tag and an empty shelf/

Crap... gotta move fast. I'd been wanting to get this, like everyone else, but not at $40; $25 is an absolute bargain (I was expecting it to be $30 or $35 when it came out).

Thanks for the tip... I'll be on it this afternoon; sadly I'm stuck at work! >:(

I picked mine up on Saturday. I was expecting them to be all sold out (or maybe a few beat-up boxes laying around), but they were fully stocked. Definately a good deal.

Now to hit Target for the Separatist Shuttle. Gonna complete my collection on the cheap! :D

My wife was actually stopping by Walmart for something else anyway, so I called her and told her to take a look... so, for the people in GA, the one on Pleasant Hill Road up near Gwinnett Place Mall seems to be well stocked, they scan at $25, but the shelf doesn't indicate a sale.

Personally, I hate WalMart... but if they've got a deal, they've got a deal.

Kids don't want sets without minifigures, I doubt you'll have a hard time finding these in store.
eBay store, contact me if you'd like to perform trades from my inventory. I'm looking for original genosian fighers, second version a-wing fighters and tie bombers. I may be interested in other sets so let me know what you have.

Your tottally right about that. But it was weird how the ahsoka fighters didnt' sell too well here in canada as all the walmarts i went to were always fully stocked even at the $30 sale. (of course, they got hard to find when they got marked to $20 each)

Although, I watched Fanboys last night, I guess I'm not much of a fanboy as I had no idea what an Outrider was.

Anyways, I guess this is what you're referring to. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=396148
