Staaaang. I got one last week when it was $100, used a coupon for $10 off and got $10 gift card with it. Thought I was getting the best deal; wish I had waited!

In some ways it could be a better deal, you did not have to buy two to get your 28% off.

It looks like they are now out of stock online until the sale is over. Then on Sunday it will be back to regular price.

On another note, why does Google checkout save on tax?

gorram...could have saved another $10 with Google checkout. Next time... *grumbles*. It makes this sweet deal a bit sour, but only a bit.

Classy, really top notch.

Anyone who is against reselling has obviously never taken economics. There's a reason half the people against it in that scalping thread were kids.

I don't think anyone has anything against reselling. All I'll say is that there is a way to be classy about it, and there is a way to be tacky about it; some people understand this, others have justifications. I'll leave it at that.

I got an e-mail saying my order cannot be completed, without saying why, and that I would not be charged. What is going on with being in and out of stock? :S I have to try again tomorrow I guess.

They are back in stock.

The Google checkout promo of $10 off $60 did not work for me, maybe it has expired.

This is a really great bargain. It's basically like paying full price for the first set and getting a second one for $22.39. The free shipping, and no sales tax through Google Checkout, makes it the best deal I've come across from TRU. Thank you to all who helped me with this ridiculously cheap purchase.

Wow, that Google Checkout is awesome! I don't know how they do it! Also, if you use your Discover card right now, you'll get double cash back - so I think it's 2% extra back. Shiny!

(On an unrelated note - my understanding of "scalping" is when you purchase something and then sell it at an overly inflated price on a short-term basis - due to supply-and-demand. However, if you are holding the item as an investment and then it goes OOP (out-of-print), hence the resale value goes up. Selling then is not traditionally considered "scalping" to my understanding.)

Not sure if it's worth posting, but this combos nicely with the (previously posted) buy 1 (non SW) get 1 50% off TRU deal.

I got the 33% off Home One, bought a lego city set for full price, got the new Space Police Smash n Grab for 50% off, 10$ off over 100$ coupon, free shipping, and Google Checkout for no tax.

Basically I got Home One and two other sets, shipped to my house, for less than it would have cost me to drive over to the store and buy Home One alone (on a normal weekend).

Not too shabby.

I just got my shipping confirmation from my TRU order. unfortunately sales tax was applied even though google checkout didn't show any. it might be because i'm in the same state as google? otherwise, if someone not from california can confirm whether or not they got charged tax, it would be much appreciated.

still, tax or not, this was a helluva deal.

It is a cracy deal considering its their exclusive and suprisingly, toysrus priced it at msrp. And if you use google checkout and those coupon codes, you save even more.

Such bs, this was out of stock all of last night and this morning it's back in stock when the coupon expires. I even tried calling the 800 number and no go. They're the worst online store since they separated from Amazon.
