[US] Target Fall clearance

Postby meeotch » Tue Oct 20, 2009 7:14 pm

Was shopping at Target today and took a stroll through the toys. Spoongebob: Good Neighbors at Bikini Bottom, Castle: Tower Raid, and Indy: Shanghai Chase were all on 15% clearance. More sets may have gone on clearance but these were all I noticed.

I was in Target yesterday, and those were all on 30% clearance. This was Portland, OR, the Target at Glisan and SE 122.

When I was in Portland over the weekend I noticed 7679 is NCF. Which is sweet. OT: Locally here in Seattle the Targets have not marked down anything yet.

Non Carry Forward.

Target Speak for an item that is being discontinued. Note that this may or may not go on clearance before disappearing from the store.

Yes, it is Target speak, but only because they are the only ones that tag their shelves that way so that the public can notice it and decipher. It's also standard industry lexicon for most retailers/wholesalers.

I've seen the small dwarf castle set and the Indy shanghai chase set for 15% off. The real find was the Star Wars Torrent for 50% off. This was last week though.

Had to get an ice scraper, so back to Target I went today. Add the Magnaguard Starfighter to the Republic Tank and Torrent that are NCF/ soon to be clearanced.

Add many Agents 2.0 sets (including Robo-Attack), Crystal King, and City Helicopter Transport to the list of NCF items.
