I did a search for target clearance and there was an easter topic, which I don't think applies, so I started a new one.
I went to a couple Target stores in the Chicago area and found some SW lego sets on clearance, nothing better than 30% for now and I didn't pay too much attention to non-star wars themed sets. Here's the list of sets being clearanced:
7667 Imperial Dropship - $7.68
7668 Rebel Scout Speeder - $7.68
7670 Hailfire Droid and Spider Droid - $13.xx
7671 AT-AP Walker - $27.xx
7672 Rogue Shadow - $34.xx
7673 Magnaguard Starfighter
7674 V-19 Torrent
I didn't see any AT-TE or RGS sets out at the targets I went to so I don't know if they were clearanced as well or if they just didn't have any. Hope this helps someone.
Edit: The prices I remember best are the battle packs so I have the cost there, the rest are not accurate to the penny but they should be to the dollar, I don't recall the magnaguard or torrent prices as I wasn't too interested in picking up more of those.
Solo is of course correct, you will not find these exact prices at every Target, but I did use the word clearance, and most people should know that YMMV is intrinsic to the concept of a clearance sale. If I had simply titled the topic Target Summer Sale, then I would agree that it was misleading. I drive 44 miles to work one way each day so I don't think too much about driving to a different Target to check for clearance items. On my commute and close by I could check on 9 different Target stores, more if I want to travel farther. At least one of them takes FOREVER to mark down items and usually keeps things at 15% for a long time. Others move a lot faster. Given the wide variance in outcomes I still think these posts are very useful because it alerts members to go out and check their local store because sets are being clearanced. And if someone was thinking of picking up one of these sets anyway at full price then having the info and gravitating towards Target for a chance at savings is better than nothing.
